A Deadly Month for US and Iraqis

Is it time to bring the service members home?

April has been the dealiest in the last seven month, with a death toll of approximately 18 service members. And the Iraqi deaths rose to the highest it been this year.

These deaths have increase as results of suicide bombing. In a the latest attack, a suicide bomber blew himself up, killed five and wounded 10 in the city of Mosul.

The attacks has sparked concerns rather or not the Iraqis are ready to take over the responsibily for their own security, as troops began to be pulled out of Iraq.

Since there are questions about the readiness of the Iraqis, does that means that other forces are to remain in Iraq?

  1. What will happen when all forces are withdrawn? I have a feeling the country will be back to square one, maybe with another dictator. :(

  2. I have that same feeling, back to the day one, that would prove that this was a waste of time and effort.

  3. Maybe they will be able to just look after themselves like the rest of us do. Perhaps all this war and 'help' has just created more war.

    What a question you've asked.

I've got one for you now that was asked over on mine. Do the bayous and swampy areas smell in the summer heat of Louisiana? Do you know?

  4. With the recent H1N1 outbreak, and the existing dispute between countries.. and now, more deaths. Obviously, war doesn't do any good at all. Just like you've put it, everything might be back to square one, again. We all need to learn the lesson, and no more innocent lives should be sacrificed, that includes every living being.
